Hurray!!! This is McGuires on Deerpark Road in Mount Merrion, with Deerpark in the background, Mount Merrion Church (1 - 2) off camera to the left, and the Stella behind me (here's a composite of the Stella). I grew up on the sweets from this shop, run by Ed, Martin, and their Mother (in alphabetical order). They've got great sweets, and an extremely friendly local-shop atmosphere. They also dish out a top-dollar 99 cone. Those are Mount Anville girls in the window (not for sale).
