We won an MTV competition to see Sparks (see next gig) and were left looking for something to do in London on a Friday night (Sparks were Saturday). We bought tickets to see Adam Ant. This was back in The Sheperds Bush Empire, and we took our lofty seats to watch Adam perform a fun gig. Highlights were: two full drummers on podiums and a small army of visually expressive guitar players. His Mum was there too.
