nine arches bridge milltown

A sunny day in early Summer 2001. Everything in the distance is covered over with haze. This is Milltown, and modern apartments sit on a bend in the Dodder river. The bridge on the left is the Nine Arches Bridge, which used to carry the Harcourt Street Railway Line. It's totally closed now, with concrete walls at both ends that no-one could ever climb over to walk across the bridge. Here are some more photos: 1 2 3.
